Attorney - Lead Practice Area Counsel

Edwards & Edwards, PA is in its twelfth year of operation and is seeking to add an attorney for its office in the Southpoint area of Jacksonville, Florida. Our practice is unique in that we seek to provide our clients with a comprehensive approach by having a lead attorney for differing areas of law – we currently have attorneys for criminal law, family law, estate planning, probate, real estate transactions and landlord/tenant. We are looking for an attorney with a book of business of $150K+, with preferred, but not required, experience of 2+ years, regardless if in litigation or transactional work. Legal Assistant

Responsible for answering calls, setting appointments, managing the attorney’s calendar, interacting with clients, preparing various legal pleadings and documents, and performing other as-needed duties. We are seeking someone who is motivated, eager to contribute, and excited to collaborate in a team-oriented environment. Must be able to achieve positive results while working in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting.
